What does it look like when more than 500 child care providers stop, breathe, and allow themselves to rest? At the Los Angeles stop of the Child Care Providers United (CCPU) Provider Power Tour, I had the opportunity to guide a room of 500+ providers through breathwork, deep rest, and sound healing. These are people who spend their days caring for others. For this moment, the invitation was simple: **let someone care for you.** We breathed. We rested. We regulated. And afterward, one woman came to me and said she walked into the room with back pain and walked out pain-free. That’s why I believe wellness isn’t just a perk. It’s a performance strategy. When we give the body an opportunity to come out of stress and into regulation, things can shift. Los Angeles was one stop on the CCPU Provider Power Tour, following our Santa Clara experience and ahead of Sacramento. This is what it looks like to bring nervous system regulation into real rooms, with real people, at scale. **Breathe like you mean it.** 💛

I ordered them excited, thinking they'd make my breathwork sessions more comfortable for everyone who showed up. Turns out the room wasn't built for them. Nobody complained. I just wanted everything to be exactly how I pictured it. I wanted the space I was cultivating for others to be perfect. But that's just part of building something new. Not every choice works out the first time, and I'm learning that's actually fine. Becoming Omi, the yogi, the breathwork guide, the sound bowl practitioner, means figuring things out in real time, right in front of you. These mats are one small example. There'll be more moments where I need to shift, reassess, or try something different because it didn't go the way I planned. That's all a part of the journey.

Existing was never supposed to be the hard part.
